I met Sam in Mexico during my second visit there. He got a tattoo on his leg: two fish, representing the water element. Two years later, he reached out to me again — this time because he was traveling through Europe and wanted another tattoo. This one: the air element. After exchanging ideas and references about what he was looking for, I created this design for him and we brought it to his skin. This time, he also brought his cousin, and we worked on her tattoo too (check the next post 🤭). I have no words to explain how my job makes me feel. It’s never just about a tattoo. It’s not about money. It’s about the experience behind it, the meaning, and the closeness with people. That’s what makes me feel full, alive, and deeply aligned with my ikigai — like I’m doing my mission here. Thank you to my clients for trusting my hands, for choosing me, and for coming back. I’m already looking forward to the earth and fire elements… and to seeing where we’re going to do them 🤭 If you’re in Amsterdam and would like to get tattooed, send me a DM 🪄 #amsterdamtattoo #ikigai #blackworktattoos
