Back in Ukraine, since childhood I was visiting different Martial arts classes: judo, boxing, etc. I never was super into it, but I was just visiting them to stay healthy kid. However, martial arts can be pretty injury-prone. After I started my tattoo artist career I understood that I can’t risk with any type of hand/arm injury anymore, because it is what feeding me, and provides ability to work. A lot of people think that being a tattoo artist is a creative job - yes, BUT if you’re not sustainable to sit/stand with curved spine all day flexed - you’ll probably will be able to work, but you’ll never reach really high level in the industry. That’s why I opened Yoga as a kind of sport for myself. In Ukraine it wasn’t something popular, and somehow avoided me in my life until last year. I really enjoying visiting Yoga classes and they allow me keep myself able to work and train my inner muscles. This tattoo project I would like to call “B A L A N C E” executed for my client @chrisw_47 who also is a big fan of yoga
