🔥SECOND PASS = BETTER SATURATION + BETTER LONGEVITY🔥 Hands are one of the most challenging areas to tattoo because they take a beating every day—constant washing, friction, sun exposure, and natural exfoliation. In my experience, waiting about 4–6 weeks before doing a second pass gives the skin time to fully heal and allows that initial layer to be perfectly exfoliated from the first session peeling. Once healed, I can go back in and saturate the areas that need it without unnecessarily overworking the skin. The result is better consistency, cleaner saturation, and a tattoo that has a better chance of holding up over time. This is exactly why I prefer to be patient with hand tattoos rather than trying to force everything into one session. Heal it. Assess it.
