A few finished 8x10 paintings I have done recently ;) Each one I tried something different, whether it was a new medium or a new technique, Im trying everything to find the method that works best for me. • • • Heres what I did for each: 1 (Top Left) - This one I tried using different black ink for spit shading. I played around with india inks, FW acrylic ink & posca brush pens. Weirdly I loved the brush pen the most, while keeping it wet it was super easy to spit shade a smooth blend 2 (Top Right) - For this one I wanted to play around with some color. I did all of the black with microns, and the posca brush pen. And tried out some FW red acrylic ink. 3 (Bottom Left) - This was my first ever attempt at using gouache. Although I loved it, especially the ability to mix the exact colors I wanted, it was a little more difficult to spit shade and work with. Also did the lines first here not realizing the gouache would cover them. So I ended up have to redo the lines and black shading. 4 (Bottom Right) - I attempted gouache again, after a little more research. I did the color first this time which made it much easier to work with. But i was struggling with the black ontop due to the gouache reactivating and muddying the blend. If you made it this far… Thank you!! And I love you 😘 • • • Also all of these are available to be tattooed.
